Looking for an M&A P&C guru. Great opportunity with a top ten national agency.

$160,000.00 - $200,000.00 / Annual

A phenomenal insurance agency located in the New York City Metro area is looking for an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Broker to join their team, an extremely talented and driven group with little turnover. This position focuses on large complex risks. The candidate should be a Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) subject matter expert (SME).

Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Accounts are of various complexity, sizes, and structures. Many very sophisticated accounts. Some accounts are largely international, however, there is a large percentage of domestic clients. Many of the PE firms are based in NYC.

Have an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to be creative

Has relationships with the M&A markets, their capacities, and underwriters

Has relationships with the NY market, their capacities, and underwriters

Work fast with limited information and jump in to get deals done in a collaborative effort

There may be some middle-market accounts that they may need to act as an AE.

Risk assessment, due diligence, strategy, RFP process, marketing and negotiating

Industries Real Estate, manufacturing, renewable energy, financial institutions, etc.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a college degree in insurance or a related field and possess a New Jersey or New York P&C license. With 7-10 years of brokerage experience as a P&C Broker, they must demonstrate knowledge across various lines of coverage and have experience with Private Equity. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with Sagitta systems.

This position can be hybrid with a salary range of $160,000 to $200,000, however, it’s negotiable. The agency offers great benefits, 401k matching, and a generous time off policy.
